For those who are not able to travel to the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee this June, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown held a Jubilee ceremony on Wednesday, June 8. The event honored Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, who this year became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
